I am not at the car right now as it just left my nephew stranded. The car hesitates when it shifts and now when he pushes the gas it won't move at all. I had this problem in my Dodge Dakota when it was low on trans fluid. I am hoping that is all it is but, are there some other things I should investigate when I get it back home to make this problem go away completely?

Does the engine rev when he hits the gas and it won't move?
