When I am driving, my gauges are dropping to zero and the car is completely shutting off. I replaced the battery, what's going on?

Does it start back up? Could be bad ignition switch. Very high miles.

Sometimes it takes a crank or two, but yes it starts right back up&drives fine for however long it wants to (10 minutes, or a day) then does it again. I got the alternator, starter&battery tested today. Was told it was battery, replaced it&still happened. Yes, very high miles. Had it a long time!

Bad cam and crank sensors can cause similar symptoms also. The more clues the better! Those jap cars are real techno nightmares sometimes. And so are the newer domestics so that's how they demand the big bucks to fix em!

A scan will pick up any sensor problem, that will be a good place to start, even if just to exclude these as the source of the problem.
