crank pulley bolt came loose.

I had the crank pulley replaced. The man torqued it to 180 lbs. 3 months later it was wobbling and the two belts came off. Why do think it came loose?

Did he use any thread locking compound, always good insurance to use this as well.

Mark-Maybe the torque wrench is out of calibration

Uncle, even at that torque close would be ok, a bit of long term vibration and no locking compound would be my thought.
