gear box problem on manual sedan

wont go into gear particularly reverse grunches sometimes gets stuck in reverse rattling noise when reversing also jumps out of 5th gear when on motorway and jumps in to nueteral by its self but then will go back into 5th gear

Sounds like you need to have it looked at. Most likely rebuilt or replaced. Crunching and grinding is a sign that the gears aren't meshing properly. Jumping out of gear is a sign that the the synchros are being aligned without the clutch being depressed.
