why does rear end lock up when turning corner and break spider gear, on 2nd rear end now

could be the carrier shifting and putting too much pressure on the spiders assembly. you need a shop that is good with differential repairs to go over the entire rear. if you have a posi rear, the clutches may be locking up and causing this situation.
