Hello, i have a 1997 gmc jimmy it has 167,000 miles on it and i have a problem with at random times when the suv is parked and locked no key in the ignition it will crank over continuously. I changed the ignition cylinder about 6 months ago. I just recently changed the battery and starter. It still does this and it will do it til the battery is dead so i have to disconnect the battery at night when im home. Please help me with this problem thank you.

The problem may be the ignition switch and not the lock cylinder? If you pull the crank fuse instead of battery cable, does that stop it from cranking?
