I crashed the 97 geo tracker but the engine is still in running condition so now i'm trying to take the 97 engine out and put it in the 96 geo tracker. I'm spotting some differences but i need some help. what are the differences between the engines & is this possible?

The engine out of the 97 has a crank positioning sensor and the 96 does not.
