Idle bogging down too low when placed into gear after warm up.

Where does the signal originate telling the computer to raise the idle r.p.m. when automatic transmission is placed into gear ?'97 T-Bird 4.6L . It is not the idle control valve. Replaced .

It comes from the PCM based on information from other sensors. Have you checked for vacuum leaks?
