well i have 1997 Ford thunderbird 3.8, and i just had the A/C recharged, everything works its just that, the conpressor turns off then back on and over and over, someone told me that it might be some sensor that tells it to turn off once it notices that it gets to cold, i wanted to know where would that be located?

It's supposed to do "some" cycling, depending on the outside temp and fan speed. I would suggest getting it checked by a professional.
