popping on aceleration 1997 Ford Taurus 3.0 push rod... 223800

1997 Ford Taurus 3.0 push rod... 22380 miles. Popping happens when I acelerate or put power load on engine. Comes from left side of engine compartment. I have changed plugs wires, whole cam sycn, both rear o2 sensors. Maybe Trans? torq converter? im at a lost. compresstion tests show the age of the +/- 15 psi around 100 PSi. Any thoughts?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs and clean the MAF sensor and see what happens
