My '97 Ford Taurus us billowing out white smoke from the exhaust pipe. Also it's going through antifreeze faster than I can put it in the car. What could be wrong?

Head gasket, sorry to say. Could be a cracked head, but that's not too common. Depending on where the gasket is leaking, you will likely see big bubbles in the coolant overflow reservoir too.

Maybe it's an intake gasket? Usually a head gasket bad enough to billow smoke has an effect on how engine runs. My daughter has a mustang that could have been a destroyer escort smoke screen yet it ran smooth and it was intake gaskets! And yes really bad head gaskets also blow bubbles in coolant overflow tank!

Didn't think of that but it's a V-6. I'm assuming you know if there are coolant passages in it. Sure would be an easier repair.
