I am trying to replace my antenna wire in my 97 for ranger and it won't come thru the fire wall how do i get it out and get the new one in?

It should go through the kick panel. There is a rubber grommet that seals it. It needs removed before the wire will come out. Also, I would recommend attaching a string to the old wire so when removed, the string follows it. That way, you can attach the new wire to the string and feed it back through.

I try to attach a shoe string to it, it worked but it rip the wire before i got to the other side. so how can I get my new wire into the hole through cab

Hello,
You might need to loosen the fender to allow enough room to replace the antenna.

I am trying to replace my antenna wire in my truck and I tied a shoe string to end of the old one, which it did worked, but it rip the old wire before it got through the hole and now i cant get it through the hole. What can i use to get it through?
