My 1997 Ford Probe only runs a few seconds. I changed the plugs, rotor and cap. What's up?

I will check fuel pressure but the car was running at length after I changed the Rotor ( the car sat for two years) after I discovered that the car had only a cup of tranny fluid(a mechanic said that it needed a new one) I filled it and the car shifted but it started cutting off.
