1997 Ford Probe Gear Selector Button Wont Shift Park Other Gears Started Working

Gear selector button wont go in and wont shift from park to any other gears it started working again then quit again last night how can i fix this? i really need an answer asap i use my car for work no car no work thanks.

check to see if shift interlock fuse has blown if not check fuses 1 & 8 on interiior fuse box, there are also two relays in solenoid.
