Does ford probe 1997 4cyl have DIS system?

I have been reading an article somewhere and acheived this

"Checking a Distributor Ignition Systems - If your car has a DIS (distributor-less ignition system) skip this step. Ignition timing is very important in achieving maximum power from your engine"

Please if anybody is sure and know this information would be appreciated to tell if the ford probe 1997 has this system or not!

1997 Ford Probe 4Cyl 2.0L with Manual Transmission.

The 2.0L has a distributor its not a DIS or COP

So the ignition timing should be set manually on this car?
