Car not starting

Earlier tonight my 97 mustang, 5 speed, stalled and when trying to start again I got nothing. I just bought the car last week and am not quite used to the clutch, but when I reversed and stalled I did not expect any problems. Help! Please! Thanks in advance.

Is it cranking over and will not start or just won't crank at all/nothing when you hit the key to cranking position?

Sad but true, we figured it out. The darn battery cable had come lose. Imagine that. Thank you for your help!
