It started to rain and i switched on the wipers and now have an electrcal short with whatever i turn on

my 1998 diesel fiesta has developed a bad electrical short. whatever switch i operate everything goes haywire

What kind of test equipment do u have? Do u have a multimeter? I will send you a wiring diagram and you are going to have to trace the wires from the wiper motor back.. to start out id simply unpulg the wiper motor and turn the wiper switch on and see if it blows the fuse.. the wiper motor may have seized up causing escessive amperage draw.
