hi i was driving and car stalled so mate towed me home and he replaced fuel pump car wouldnt start so cleaned fuel filter and fuel injectors and now car idles but when you put on accelerator it backfires and no guts please help thanks it a el wagon

Check fuel pressure you may have a faulty pressure regulator, also get the coil checked as well.
