1997 Ford F-150 Won't Turnover

Checked battery, it's good. When key is turned to start hear single click behind primary battery fuse cover. The doors will lock and unlock as I turn key to start

check starter relay and battery for condition including load test most places do for free. try resetting security system if no manual look online.

Hi Mike. Wondering if you've solved your issue. I had/am having a similar issue on the 2000 model. My first no start problem was solved after replacing a bad pulley in the A/C compressor. You might try popping the belt off and see if it starts up with the belt removed. Try hand turning the pulleys.
