1997 Ford F 150 Might Dumb Will Brake Booster 4 2 Litre Fit 4 6 F150

Might be a dumb question but will a brake booster from a 4.2 litre fit in a 4.6 litre Ford F150? The 4.6 looks closer to the firewall where the 4.2 looks like it may have some sort of spacer.

I used Rock Auto for a reference and they list the same part number for both engines. It would suggest the spacer might be used to provide clearance with one engine but the boosters are the same and can be replaced without changing it.
