What are the risks to delaying repair. how much does repair generally cost. v8 awd automatic 97. grinding noises come from drivers side especially when turning. really loud on road. louder when at higher speeds.

Took to mechanic for bearings but bearings were good. was told it was front differential on drivers side. mainly concerned about risks if we delay on fixing it. how much does that usually cost?

if the axle were bad you would hear it clicking on sharp turn going foward and reverse.call around and get a price on a rebuilt front axle.
