Where are the parking brake shoes located on my SUV?

Inside of the rear brake rotors. They look like the older drum brakes just smaller and only mechanical.

Nope. Only the rears. The front will have just rotors and calipers.

Yes. Left and right sides both have parking brake assemblies.
