overhead console upgrade

My overhead console has empty GPS slot. I would like to upgrade my overhead console with one with a GPS indicator is it compatible to later year models like 1998 to 2000.

That is possible if you get the wiring harnesses and controllers to do so.

Went to salvage yard but harness from 1999 I looked at has same harness with additional one, that connects to compass, coming from mirror or somewhere from overheads passenger side.
