1997 Ford Expedition lower ball joint install help

I recently replaced my lower ball joint and I am NOT for sure if they are correctly installed I have provided pictures. Thank you.

If they are in the same direction (pointing downwards) as the previous then that looks ok. There may have been or needs to be a large snap ring that went along that top ridge of the ball joint? was there one on it when you took the old one off?

Yes, I'm currently trying to put that on right now and that is son of a gun to get on even with my snap ring pliers Thanks.

Lastly I tore the boot on the bottom is a possible to slip another boot over that?

You can't put another boot over it. You can replace the boot or just use that one.
