Check for a binding worn out cable.

No it's on the bottom of column under dash

Cable appears to be find. This problem happens often shifting from park and back into park. Is there a lubercant that can be put on it?

Not really i'm sending adjustment to check cable then check fuses it may be a shift inter lock problem.S

Check under hood and in car use a test light and turn key on.

It turns out to be worn out bushings around steering column gear shifter.
