hi i have a problem with my 97 ford escort i think the torque converter is sliping so i pulled the tranny but dont want 2 put it back in the car with only the new torque converter i want 2 be shure i was told may be the 2-4 band cuz it seems like 35 and 60 mph?

Chances are the clutch packs are worn allowing it to slip. While you have it out, I would do a soft rebuild.
