how to replace mirrors on a 1997 crown victoria

Remove the interior door panel, Then you will see 3 holes that have the nuts on the mirror studs to hold it in place. It is not a hard job, just takes a little time to remove the panel without breaking anything. Just take your time. A wide screwdriver will work to help you remove the panel clips that hold it in place. There are 3 (I think) or 4 screws that also need to be removed.

The door panel needs removed. Once it is off, you will see where the attachment bolts are for the mirror are located. Once they are removed, the mirror will come off.
