Hello, I just purchased a 1997 ford crown victoria with a 4.6 engine. I have filled the gas tank twice now and each time afterwards the check engine light has come on. I have disconnected the negitive battery cable and reset things. It is the stock gas cap. what could be causing this?

MOST POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORES WILL "CODE" YOU FOR FREE

THEY MAY EVEN OFFER A SOLUTION TO THE CODE

CODES MIGHT BE INTERPRETED DIFFERENT WAYS....THAT WHY WE'D LIKE YOU TO RETURN WITH THE "ACTUAL CODE NUMBERS" (EX P0125)......NOT WHAT THEY MIGHT MEAN OR PERTAIN TO

ROY (ASEMaster6371) WILL SURELY GIVE YOU A REAL GOOD INTERPRETATION AND MAYBE POSSIBILITIES TO GET YOU FIXED UP
