1997 Ford Crown Victoria headlights go off while driving

It doesn't do it till the car is run on a long trip. Short trips the lights work as supposed to.

Check fuses and relays under hood you can go to how to repair on site here on how to check a relay. Also check for corrosion on relay and fuse prongs.
