Where is the transmission filter?

Hello,

The transmission filter is located inside the transmission pan.
In order to change the filter you will have to remove the transmission pan.
Before you can do this you will need to drain the transmission fluid.
You will need 4 quart of transmission fluid for this fluid change.
It is a good idea to drain the old fluid into a container that you can measure how much of it came out. That way you know how much you will need.
