I just recently replaced the timing belt on my '97 Eagle Talon but, when I put the car back together, it wouldn't start. The battery has been replaced in an attempt to rectify this problem but it still won't start. As of right now, when trying to start the vehicle, it will turn over six or seven times normally before kicking back.

Any suggestions?

recheck your work to make sure it's in time, scan for codes and check fuelpressure.
