I have changed the relay and the switch to no avail. I noticed that the problem only happens when the cruise controll is turned on. ?

Sounds like the C/C circuit is shorted to the wiper circuit-if that's the only time the wiper comes on-

The wiper will co on if I turn the switch on. Yesterday I drove the vehicle all day with the c/c on and the event did not happen. Does that fact change your answer?

I noticed that the problem only happens when the cruise controll is turned on. ? This is the curve ball-this is gonna be a nightmare the only way to catch it when its happening

How does one catch it if the vehicle is traveling down the road when it happens.
