it is shifting hard and has what sounds like slack

have just replaced the transmission in my 1997 dodge caravan and it is shifting hard and has what sounds like slack in the axial the solenoid packs is new the only thing it can be is a sensor or a ground strap but i cannot find wear the Ground Strap is on the Transmission and i do not know wich sensor to replace can you help me?

I don't believe there is a ground strap for the transmission. It should be grounded through the engine. If there is one, it would be on the rear of the cylinder head. See the attached image. Locate G101 and G103.
