NO START OR HARD START
? Ensure battery is fully charged.
? Check spark plugs.
? Perform spark test.
? Check for sufficient fuel and fuel contamination.
? Check fuses.
? Ensure ignition timing and fuel pressure are correct.
? Check fuel injectors.
? Check crank and cam sensors.
? Ensure timing belt or chain has not jumped.
? Ensure ignition coil resistance is correct.
? Ensure rotor, distributor (if applicable) and plug wires are okay.
? Check coolant temperature sensor and connector.
? Check TP sensor and connector.
? Check airflow sensor.
? Check anti-theft system (if applicable).
? Check for contaminated fuel.
? Check for vacuum leaks.
? Ensure fuel pressure is correct.
? Check for gasoline in oil.
? Check ignition and sensor wires for proper connection.
VERY IMPORTANT! Check for trouble codes! If you do not have a scantool, turn the key from off to on three time, then on the 4th time leave it in the on psistio. Codes will flash on the odometer.

You can try a self-diagnostic test. To activate self diagnostic program:
With the ignition switch in the OFF position, depress the TRIP and RESET buttons.
While holding the TRIP and RESET button turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Continue to hold the TRIP and RESET buttons until the word CODE appears in the odometer windows (about five seconds ) then release the buttons. If a problem exists, the system will display Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's). If no problem exists, the code 999 (End Test) will momentarily appear.
Post any codes displayed.
