I have a 1997 Citroen AX and driving home the other night the lights and indicators died. Tried starting car the following day and it's dead. The auto diagnostic warning light comes on. Any ideas?

Not sure if this is something to do with the battery or something more serious due to age of car

Have both the battery and alternator load tested, also check the headlamp switch

Can this be done easily or will I need to get a mechanic to do?

Thanks razmataz

If you're lacking the experience in electrical theory best just bring her in-you might end up making things worst or cause an electrical fire-
