do i need to drop my fuel tank to change the fuel pump

i have to change it and cant drop the tank and it worked the it didnt and then i had my boyfriend tap the tank and it started and ran and now it dont

the bosch pump is more expensive but likely will last longer as it's oem pump in that vehicle. you dont want to do this again next year.

or get 1 from scrap yard like i do. lots cheaper
