steam at block, coolant. guage did not rise above normal, fan came on after stopped and looked under hood Small amount of coolant. Just added coolant to bottle. Shows full hot. Could it b over full? Could thermostat be stuck. could bleed valve b expelling extra coolant? Could fan sensor b intermitting or loose at connection? Where is fan sensor?

you need a pressure test to find your leak. get a leak down test as well to rule out head gasket from overheating.

yes, the thermostat may have been the issue but now it is overheated, there may be more problems.
