1997 Chrysler LHS gas fumes

I am smelling gas fumes inside and outside the vehicle, but there is no visible leak under the car. What could be the issue? So days are worst than others. It is stronger when the air conditioning is running.

Start by looking at the fuel rail on top of whichever engine you have. There was a recall that involved gluing on stiffeners to prevent cracking but I don't remember which years that involved or whether all engine sizes were included.

Also look around the base of each injector while the engine is running. If you see any wetness, new o-rings may be needed.
