Your going to have to get a coolant system pressure tester and pressure test the system to locate and pinpoint where the antifreeze is leaking from.

You have to give us some kind of idea of what part fell off. We can't guess over a computer. The thermostat is inside a housing that is bolted to the engine. It is not going to fall off.

A quick way to tell if the fans are working is to unplug the two-wire coolant temperature sensor while the engine is running. The fans should turn on within one or two seconds.

Teamiz don't know if you are still having issues with your car. There are 2 things. one it is a closed system. You will keep overheating if you have any airpockets in your system. you need to bleed the air out by the bleeder screw ontop your gooseneck. the second thing is I have the same car and have had to replace my water pump 3 times now, they usually get between 36-60k before they need replaced. also if your themostat sticks shut it will overheat. the leaking you are seeing is cloning out of the overflow.
