sputtered till it died

I am not getting any fire from my spark plugs. engine turns over fine. it died on me and sputtered till it died. thought it was bad gas but wasn't it. fuel pump works. crank sensor?

I would suspect a timing belt or a fuel pump failure. you need a pressure guage to verify the pump and also need to remove the timing cover and verify if the belt is turning and make sure the marks are correct.
