Details!!! When do you hear this sound? Do you have an automatic or manual transmission? If it's only just as you're about to come to a stop and the window is open, you're hearing the solenoids cycling rapidly on and off to cushion the down-shift. You'll hear the same sound when you shift into reverse or drive. That cushions the clutch pack engagement for comfort.
