Gas tank...when I fill up...alot of vacuum is heard thru the filler neck. The plastic tank is collapsing.

What would be the problem? The gas cap seems to be OK. How much vacuum should be on the tank (running) and (parked overnight) The bottom of tank is concave off the saddles.

first, i would replace the gas cap. i would also have the vent valve checked as it may be bad as well.
