does cps need relearn when timing chain cover gasket is replaced

i replaced my timing chain cover gasket because of oil leak now i have code p0300 and truck runs BAD does the cps need relearn? the kit came with cps o-ring i replaced it as well

not unless you replaced the crank sensor. if you did, then it needs to be set by a shop with a scan tool.

changing the gasket should not effect it at all.

re check your work for unconnected wires or vacuum leaks.

P0300 is misfiring codes. ensure the spark plugs and related componest are installed correctly and connections secure.
