97 Suburban Headlight Problem

97 Suburban Headlight Low-beam malfunction. Daytime running lights work, high-beams work no low-beams in regular switch position. Saw previous post about topic but can not find result or answer. Replaced switch and have same result. Need ideas- Keith

you replaced headlight switch? what about dimmer switch?

The dimmer switch in the steering collumn? I have not replaced that. Would that prevent the lights from working in the normal position?

yes it could. although you may want to test it before you buy a new 1.
