My 1997 Chevy Silveradostarted sitting freon out of the high side fitting, can u tell me what's wrong?

Sitting in the drive thru and noticed smoke coming from the engine we raised the hood and it was shooying out like a gyser.

it is a ball fitting. the entire line has to be replaced.
