It is a 1997 Chevy 1500 it ain't getting gas in carb have put new filter and getting gas to carb. Just won't go in to carb

At key on engine off, can you here the fuel pump run? If no, check voltage and ground for the fuel pump motor, engine cranking. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. It is possible you have fuel pressure, but, no injector pulse?
