smells like raw fuel

my 97 malibu smells like gas when it heats up please help

Check for any external leaks, under the vehicle, under the hood. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. See if pressure holds after pump stops. If leaking, could be injector--fuel pressure regulator-- evap system.
