My cars alternator went out and so I had it replaced but now my radio won't work it just says loc. I've read that I needed to enter a security code. I got these six numbers 415-412 and that is supposed to give me a 4 digit code but that's what I need help with is using those 6 digits to fine a 4 digit code!

That was GM's first attempt at trying you to the dealer to make money off of you after the sale. That business culture has gotten much much worse in the last five to ten years. Someone here may be able to call the 800 number and translate the code for you but normally that is done by the people in the parts department and they don't do that for free.

I don't have an issue with this customer-unfriendly business practice because you DO have the capability of turning that Theft-Loc system off. I will never own a newer car or truck that has computers that MUST be purchased from and programmed by the dealer.
