MAYBE YOUR WATER PUMP IMPELLER IS MADE OF THIS WONDERFUL MATERIAL?

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_remanufactured-water-pump-driveworks_5420520-p?searchTerm=water+pump

I NEVER THOUGHT THEY WOULD MAKE THIS NEWER CRAP OUTTA PLASTIC!..........STUFF IS SUPPOSED TO IMPROVE, NOT GO BACKWARDS

I SAW ONE THAT STILL WAS ON THE SHAFT..................'CEPT IT WAS SPLIT!!!!............LOOKED FINE, TILL THEY FOUND THE SPLIT

IT WOULD TURN ALL DAY LONG AT IDLE AND NOT OVERHEAT (WITH NO WATER LOAD)TAKE IT DOWN THE ROAD, THE "WATER LOAD" ON THE IMPELLER MADE THE SHAFT "STRIP AND SPIN" (THE IMPELLER LOST IT'S MOTION...BASICALLY DID NOT TURN)

DON'T GET ME WRONG, I HAVE SEEN METAL ONES RUSTED AWAY............BUT EVER SO RARELY. THE PLASTIC ONES ARE A COMMON THING TO SHELL OUT........IF YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER STORE WITH A WATER PUMP WITH A METAL IMPELLER, IT WOULD PAY TO GET ONE, IF IT IS OFFERED THAT WAY

HERE'S 1-3 PICS FROM A '97 FORD TAURUS 4-5 ARE OF A VW 6 "REAL VEHICLES" WITH "REAL WATER PUMPS"

MISSING A PIECE???................MAY HAVE TO DO SOME FISHIN' TO INSURE IT'S NOT BLOCKING A PASSAGE

YOUR TURN

THE MEDIC
