1997 Chevrolet Camaro Just Bought Rs Friend Only Thing Wrong That Security System

I just bought a rs from my friend and he said the only thing wrong with it was that the security system disabled the car. everytime i used the key he gave to open the car the alarm went off so i had a new key made (not programed yet) and it do.
